DEAD CAT!! Its like all hardened with legs facing the side. Medically its called vigor mortis in which the muscles contract on the time of death. As a result you see this harden posture. No idea how it died there but it definitely did not look like a pleasant one. It was also all bloated up with flies all over. Good thing no maggots yet.
To summarize, I took the dead cat with my bare hands (hands wrapped with plastic bag lah) and dumped it into a black garbage bag. Wrapped it into another bag and another and another. Then straight it went to the central garbage bin.
May god grant peace to his/her soul.......

Random Rambling
Are we guys that thick?
How come we give stupid answers that gets us into trouble?
Do we actually think with our "other" head?
My answer is yes and no. There are many guys that are sensitive and kind while others are just obvious oxymoron walking with an empty shell. This goes to the ladies as well.
At the end of the day, its a matter of need. Guys, if you really care then try to be sensitive to your woman. If they give you a question, do not shoot them down as they have feelings too. To the girls, if you are not happy with the reaction that you get, show it and let the men know that its not the right answer. If you don't give us a nudge then how would we learn?! At the end, try to understand each other and learn from past experiences. If that doesn't work then its time to look for the exit door.
Time to sleep. Was told to go to bed early to recuperate.
Off I go to slumber land.................
Causeway Bay, Low Yat Plaza
Nowadays wherever you go you will see a lot of Hong Kong ("char charn teng" in Cantonese) style eateries. I was told that the new trend was started by the Kim Gary chain which was so hot that eventually everyone joint in the bandwagon.
One such char charn teng that I do visit once in a while when I hang around Low Yat Plaza/Sungai Wang would be Causeway Bay. Its situated at the ground floor of Low Yat Plaza and opposite Coffee Bean. The food is pretty ok for my standards. So far my favourite seems to be their noodle soup with xo beef. The taste kinda reminds me of a similar place that I frequently visit during my school days in UK.

Korea House (Korean BBQ)
On reaching the restaurant, I was greeted by a Korean couple. First impression was of course "wow.... this place is actually run by koreans". The ambiance were pretty ok with a max of 2 tables in a single cubicle (perfect for a small gathering). I was escorted to the second floor with a single table cubicle for my night there.
The menu range from the standard beef, chicken and pork BBQ, to the variety of kimchi soups, noodles and rice. I ordered a set of pork and spicy chicken BBQ and a portion of kimchi soup. I am a sucker for kimchi.... can't get enough of them. As we dine on the side dishes on the table, we had one of the waiters prepare our meat for us (pretty good service eh).
The food there was good and I do recommend those that like Korean BBQ to come give this place a try.
All that for RM80.85. I thought that was pretty good.
Here's the address for those interested : No 185, Jalan SS 2/24, PJ

Dating 101 (Part 2)
Woot! Its dating time!
Timing. You should be early or at least reach there on time. Letting your date wait is really of bad taste.
Open Your Mouth. The worse thing a date can start is when both don't really talk much. So try to break the ice. I find complimenting your date as a good ice breaker especially for guys. Girls like to feel pretty so telling them that they look nice is a good start (for the guys - please do not stare at her boobs / cleavage while telling her how pretty she is.... you might get a tight slap!).
Make your date feel important. When your on a date, do make sure its between 2 people. Roaming eyes (oohh.... that hunk / babe looks delicious), lost of concentration to the big screen tv (Liverpool vs Man U...woahhh!!) or the likes are a BIG NO NO. Try to listen to what your date is saying and ask questions about interest, likes and dislikes. If both of you have something in common then build on that conversation. Oh yeah.... please call your date by name (so no wei!, oi!, sugar, leng chai or leng lui. Not close yet so better don't mengada-ngada kay! Your partner might get turned off). If your the talkative type please stop if you realise your the only one talking for the last 10 minutes. Some people are slower to respond and by you talking all the time, they won't have chance to respond. Try having the conversations back and forth. For those that have no idea what to ask or talk about, its always good to ask general questions. Try not to ask yes and no questions too. That would make the conversation very boring. For example, if your asking about work, don't ask "do you like your boss?" but try using "tell me about your relationship with your boss". The latter will give you a much more fruitful conversation.
Respect your date. This is important. Be polite and do say thank you when you are being complimented. This will portray yourself as being a confident person and many people like a person with confidence. To those jokers out there, please control your humour (especially those dirty jokes.... first date is a big no lah). What is funny to you might not be funny to her/him. So test the waters first before you want to say anything adventurous (i am talking about jokes, please do not try to think otherwise :P).
Eye contact. Another big point. When talking to your date, please keep eye contact and not look at the ceiling or your cup of latte. You will look like a dumbass trying to serenade the cup or whatever your looking at. Also try to smile when possible (but not too much lah or your date might think your a 24/7 smiling nut case from tanjung rambutan) as it gives a more relaxing atmosphere.
Chemistry. So the date seems to be doing well. Now what? Make sure you ask another date lah (duhhh!). If you got no guts to ask now at least hint that you would like to go out again. If your date turn out to be somewhat of a disappointment its best to just follow through. I know of a case in which the date didn't go as planned and the guy instead of sending his date home, sent her to the nearest LRT station (please don't do that lah). Respect your date and the effort that he/she had given, smile, thank your date for the day spent and leave.
Home. For the guys especially. Its a good idea to sms or call your date to make sure she is safe home (if she has her own transport). That makes her feel at ease knowing that you care even after both of you have parted.
Final Part : What to do after a date. (You like your date very much. Can't have your date out of my mind... driving me crazy... help!!!)
Stay Tuned.

Putera Jaya Bandor
In our native Perak slang, bandar (town) is pronounced as bandor. So in short his name translated to English is "Town of Puterajaya". This boy is 12 this year old and not to my surprise, I found this information off the net regarding Putrajaya.
"29th August 1995 Prime Minister Dato Seri Dr. Mahathir Muhammad officiates the launching of Putrajaya at the Putrajaya project site."
Yup! Thats exactly 12 years ago. The father must have loved our country so much to name his son after the Federal Government Administrative Centre.
I on the other hand pity his son. Imagine you being called Putera Jaya wherever you go. That would be embarassing.

Dongzhi Festival / Winter Solstice Festival
Anyways, for those that don't know what the Winter Solstice is all about, here is some info about it that I plagiarized from wikipedia.
The Dōngzhì Festival or Winter Solstice Festival (Chinese: 冬至; Pinyin: dōng zhì; "The Extreme of Winter") is one of the most important festivals celebrated by the Chinese and other East Asians during the Dongzhi solar term on or around December 22 when sunshine is weakest and daylight shortest; i.e., on the first day of the Dongzhi solar term
The origins of this festival can be traced back to the Yin and Yang philosophy of balance and harmony in the cosmos. After this celebration, there will be days with longer daylight hours and therefore an increase in positive energy flowing in. The philosophical significance of this is symbolized by the I Ching hexagram fu (復, "Returning").
Traditionally, the Dongzhi Festival is also a time for the family to get together. One activity that occurs during these get togethers (especially in the southern parts of China and in Chinese communities overseas) is the making and eating of Tangyuan(湯圓, Cantonese jyutping: tong1 jyun2; Mandarin : Tāng Yuán) or balls of glutinuous rice, which symbolize reunion. Tangyuan are made of glutinuous rice flour and sometimes brightly coloured. Each family member receives at least one large Tang Yuan in addition to several small ones. The flour balls may be plain or stuffed. They are cooked in a sweet soup or savoury broth with both the ball and the soup/broth served in one bowl.
In northern China, people typically eat dumplings on Dongzhi. It is said to have originated from Zhang Zhongjing in the Han Dynasty. On one cold winter day, he saw the poor suffering from chilblains on their ears. Feeling sympathetic, he ordered his apprentices to make dumplings with lamb and other ingredients, and distribute them among the poor to keep them warm, to keep their ears from getting chilblains. Since the dumplings were shaped like ears, Zhang named the dish "qǜ hán jiāo ěr tāng" or dumpling soup that expels the cold. From that time on, it has been a tradition to eat dumplings on the day of Dongzhi.

Random Rambling
Had another conversation with a net friend of mine. She ask me if I mind my gf getting fat during the process of our relationship (hypothetical question here since I am now single). My reaction was the same as always, as long as her attitude towards me is the same then it doesn't really matter BUT i would ask her to do her yearly medical so that the weight gain does not affect her health. If it is, then I would have a problem. Her bf gave her a different answer though. "No lah my darling, you won't be fat leh, you so skinny now.... i cannot imagine you being fat. Besides, you go gym very often". His answer may not be wrong, maybe he truly cannot imagine his gf getting fat since she is very conscious about her own body (she always complain that she's fat even though she isn't). Nevertheless I guess it was a moment of insecurity on her part and her bf should have been more tactfully when answering her question.
Come to think of it, I have yet to meet a girl that does not complain that she isn't fat. Apparently the skinny girls wanna be skinnier, the more or less medium sized wants to be thinner and the chubby cute girls wanna shed more weight by going on high protein low carb diet. Come on girls you are pretty as you are!! What has happened to the "beauty is only skin deep" theory? Rake it out from the drain will ya. Ya ya.... I am sure some will say, common dude, don't tell me you will not mind if your gf is a fat ass. To be honest, of course I do but I bet a 6ft 2" 200 kg guy won't mind. Then again, I could be like the case above where love over powers everything. All I am saying is, whatever form, shape and size you are, there is always someone out there that would adore you for who you are. This seems to be a contradiction from my first statement that people nowadays are vain and that looks do count for many. That's right too and hence the world we live in. A world full of contradictions. So it really depends on what angle your looking at i guess.
Me on one hand is not really bothered. I am already a fat ass... SO BE IT!
One thing though, woman are more forgiving about guys body shape. Most woman I talked to don't really mind their man being on the heavier side. I take comfort whenever I hear that.
Oh well.... enough rambling.
Until next time..............

Dear Santa : My Christmas Wish (On Steroids)
As you know, I am not selfish. I won't be asking you for a house, a sports car or anything materialistic like many childish kid. I would just use the money that you gave me and buy them myself. So me being a good kid and all, and knowing that you also grant wish of the mind, body and soul, I wish that you can give me good health. Its a simple wish really, all I want is good health and a healthy stamina in whatever physical activities that I would be doing be it on and off the field. Of course longevity is a must as I would want to use up the money that you gave me. I am not the type that don't appreciate what is given to me. So I guess prolonging my life expectancy and my youth for the next 200 years would do.
4th on my wish list would be a magnanimous one. Everyday I read wars being let loose, killers on a killing spree and many more unwanted crimes that is causing mankind to suffer. I know many is of our own doing and to a certain extent we do really ask for it but I would really hope that you being the generous person you are would grant me this wish.... world peace. So starting the 25th December 2007, we will no longer need to worry about wars, innocent human beings being killed, suicide bombers, kidnaper's, serial murders and all other unwanted crime. I know its a really big wish to ask from you but i do hope you will grant it for me and also for all mankind. This way I will be able to spend my money peacefully without worrying about others harassing me or trying to do harm to me. You know how it is at the moment, the second they know you are rich they will think of ways to kidnap you for money and other sick and sinister plots.
My fifth and final wish is the easiest of all. Won't even need you to break a sweat.
I wish for 10 wishes next Christmas.
(Got bored thus writing craps.... haha)

Nokia N95 8Gb vs HTC TyTN II
Being a road blind in most cases, I have been toying on the idea of getting a GPS system for general travel wear. This year a few phones have come out to my liking with GPS built in.
Wifi would be neat as I can go online while having a cup of my favourite Mocha Frappuccino (Yeah, I am one of those few people that have only used a desktop all his life).
Anyways, I have narrowed it down to 2 phones at the moment. The Nokia N95 8GB and the HTC TyTN II.
Here's a short description of the two phones. Firstly the Nokia N95 8GB
2.8" QVGA Screen
HSDPA / GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 (Of course got 3G lah)
8BG of Internal Memory (Wow!! IPOD on steroids)
128 MB SDRAM memory
ARM 11 332 MHz processor
Integrated GPS and Nokia Maps (No more getting lost!)
5 Mega Pixel Camera with Carl Zeiss Optics
TV Output
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, UPnP technology (Can chat on yahoo for free!)
Symbian OS 9.2, S60 rel. 3.1
If you still have no idea what I am talking about. This phone just rocks!
Nevertheless this phone will be setting me back to about RM2700 for a original set (Ouch!)
Next is the HTC TyTN II
Touch Screen!!! (Woahhh!!)
Windows Mobile 6 Pro
2.8" TFT LCD Screen
256MB Internal Memory (Boooo!)
128MB SDRAM
HSDPA / GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
QWERTY Keyboard (Cool eh)
Wi-Fi®: IEEE 802.11 b/g
3 Mega Pixel Camera
Micro SD Memory Slot
Integrated GPS
A cool phone. Touch screen is real tempting
This phone would set be back as much as RM3200 (double ouch!!)
I am leaning more to the N95 8GB at the moment but with my touch of craziness I might get a completely different phone.
So any of you guys and girls out there already own or know more about this phone? Give me comments lah! If you got other phones to recommend please do so too ya.

Christmas Update
I seem to really have a mood for Christmas this year. Been listening to Christmas instrumentals whole night while tweaking my blog.
Anyways its 3.31am and I really need to go to bed. I bet work tomorrow will be a tiring affair. Oh well, that goes with life isn't it?
I'll leave you all with a nice instrumental. I've decided to leave it here till the end of Christmas.
I've also added a Christmas themed clock here. Not because it looks cool but to remind myself that I should be going to bed (Also a way to show the Christmas spirit).
Adios my friends and good night.
Grrrrr.... I am a Blogging NOOB
Why?
Trying to be smart and trying out new custom templates.
I guess I better stick to the good old sample templates for now...... sigh.......

Quotable Quotes
Love isn't about finding a perfect person. It's about seeing an imperfect person perfectly. If you're not able to do this, then you don't deserve anyone.
I'm selfish ,impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times too hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at me worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

Invigorating Monday Morning
It was an un-expectantly busy Monday and whilst in the midst of people coming in and out, a girl came in for a usual contact lens enquiry. Of course my able staff dealt with her question as per usual and requested her to take a seat while waiting for me to see her later. Now here is the beginning of what turned out to be really strange. Instead of waiting at the waiting area, she rushed into our staff room cum office which was located at the mid end of the outlet. She then took a seat on our office chair and casually started reading a magazine that she took along with her. Sensing something odd, my girls alerted me of the situation. The first thing that came to mind was her being a new patient, maybe she lost her way or mistook our office as the waiting area. I then politely asked her to come out of the office so that I could test her eyes with our auto-refractor. Again here is the second queer thing that happened. The moment i said "done", she rushed back into our office without me having a chance to say another word. That was when i was sure there was something wrong with her. I went back in again and requested her to come out so that I could explain the result of the eye test. But again right after i have explained to her of her eye condition, she rushed back into the office. By now I knew she was a nut case. This time with a more assertive tone, I told her that she cannot wait in the office as its only for working staff. Here is a short transcript of what transpired.
Me : Excuse me madam but you can't wait in our office. This is for staff only
Her : Huh? What do you mean, is this your office?
Me : Yes madam it is
Her : Are you sure? Where is your name written here saying that it is? Where is the proof. (she then repeated a few times asking what date it is today and stuff)
Me : I am sorry but this is indeed our office and you can't wait here.
Her : Are you sure this is your office?
Me : Yes, if you don't mind please wait outside at our waiting area. We will attend to you shortly.
Her : So I am not allowed to be here?
Me : Yes
Her : FINE! I WILL LEAVE!
This is the point where i was starting to get a bit relieved as I thought she would leave the premise. But lo and behold, she only walked out of the office and sat on one of my counter and proceeded to her magazine again. At the time I was really busy so I instructed my girls to leave her be and attend to other customers. I didn't want to start a commotion with so many people around just in case she started acting up loudly.
So here we were attending our clients and her in between singing Christmas carols (but very softly I think as I was not aware of her doing so except for a few of my girls). After about 30 minutes or so, while attending one of my regular clients, I heard a scream and also what may be sound of someone spraying something from behind. Apparently the girl found one of the snow spray can that we used for our Christmas mirror deco (Refer to previous blog) and decided to spray my shop with it. I had to virtually grab the can away from her and of course during the process, got myself all messed up. Even after all that she was giggling away as if she was having a lot of fun. I asked her to leave the premise and surprisingly she did not complain and walked out.
Good thing non of my clients complained (well i did get comment on how good I look with white flakes all over my hair and shirt).
So definitely something invigorating for a lazy Monday morning.
P.S What lingered in my mind was not me mad at her doing what she did but my disappointment on her family that allowed her to move freely in town. God bless her if she would have met bad company. She would be in a real big mess if she did.

This one is funny. A must see for those that have not had a proper sex education on safe sex!
MV - Owe You 10 Dollar
This song is originally called "Thousand Miles Away", a duet song by Jay Chow & Fai Yoke Ching (sorry peps, I don't know his English name).
The one I am showing now on is a parody called Owe you 10 Dollar. The lyrics is hilarious.
P.S Can anyone translate the lyrics to english? Please put in comments or email me if you can. Thanks!

The Ingenious Cameraman
The highlight of the night was actually not the bride and groom but the cameraman that was filming the whole event. Just shows how ingenious one can be in their work.
My first impression was, "what the hell is a switch doing hanging on his belt?". He seems to be using it to charge his camera. Pretty good idea but i would have thought having a couple of spare battery would have done the trick.

What If God Was One Of Us
Lyrics is definitely a very powerful tool to bring forth one's thinking of the mind and soul. Alanis is one such great artist in which her lyrics are real captivating and gives a real insight of topics of the mind.
Alanis Morissette - What If God Was One Of Us
If God had a name what would it be?
And would you call it to his face?
If you were faced with him in all his glory
what would you ask if you had just one question?
Yeah, Yeah, God is great
Yeah, Yeah, God is good
Yeah Yeah yeah yeah yeah
What if God was one of us?
Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus
Trying to make his way home
If God had a face
What would it look like?
And would you want to see
If seeing meant that you would have to believe
In things like heaven and Jesus and the saints
and all the Prophets
Yeah Yeah God is great
Yeah Yeah God is good
Yeah Yeah yeah yeah yeah
What if God was one of us?
Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus
Trying to make his way home
Just trying to make his way home
Back up to Heaven all alone
Nobody callin' on the phone
cept for the Pope maybe in Rome
Yeah Yeah God is great
Yeah Yeah God is good
Yeah Yeah yeah yeah
What if God was one of us?
Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus
Trying to make his way home
Like a holly Rolling Stone
Back up to Heaven all alone
Just trying to make his way home
Nobody callin' on the phone
'cept for the Pope maybe in Rome

Live and Love............
My mind just can't seem to want to go to bed so I woke up and went online. As i was browsing aimlessly on the net, my eyes caught an old link from my long list of addresses bookmarked in my browser. Its an old blog from a dear friend..... the last and final post just blew my mind off for a second.
I won't be linking the blog as I know the original author would not like it to be known.
Nevertheless I wish to share this read with all of you..........
"As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.
So take as many pictures, laugh as much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin."

Sun Kong Restaurant
I was there to sample a big catch that the restaurant owner recommended to a friend of mine. I was told that its a big "pak sou kung" or river catfish. A big catch i think would be an understatement. We were only served half of the fish head and it was enough to feed 9 of us (of course we also had other dish as well).
The catch was 12kg in weight! Apparently the restaurant was also featured in one of our local Chinese papers.
