Korea House (Korean BBQ)

I had a sudden craving for Korean food last Sunday. So I decided to go to a Korean BBQ restaurant at ss2 PJ that was introduced to me by a friend.

On reaching the restaurant, I was greeted by a Korean couple. First impression was of course "wow.... this place is actually run by koreans". The ambiance were pretty ok with a max of 2 tables in a single cubicle (perfect for a small gathering). I was escorted to the second floor with a single table cubicle for my night there.

The menu range from the standard beef, chicken and pork BBQ, to the variety of kimchi soups, noodles and rice. I ordered a set of pork and spicy chicken BBQ and a portion of kimchi soup. I am a sucker for kimchi.... can't get enough of them. As we dine on the side dishes on the table, we had one of the waiters prepare our meat for us (pretty good service eh).

The food there was good and I do recommend those that like Korean BBQ to come give this place a try.

All that for RM80.85. I thought that was pretty good.

Here's the address for those interested : No 185, Jalan SS 2/24, PJ

Picture time!

Took a picture from my table out

Did I mention that they use charcoal instead of gas?

Yummy!

They hire Bangladeshi as waiters here

Food beautifully arranged.

Kimchi soup and steamed egg (make sure you eat the egg first or it will get burnt at the bottom)

Haha. I see, I see. Well, if you ever find yourself in Perth, Australia, pay Arirang a visit. It's a Korean BBQ restaurant. FANTASTIC, I tell you. Until now I never taste any other Korean BBQ that's better than that one.

Yup, RM80.85 for two pax.
If you've tried the one at Midvalley (can't recall its name), this one is way better.

Missed your last Q.
Yup, pics taken with the N95 8GB. The N82 is already out. You should check it out. It comes with xenon flash so you should be able to take night pics better then the N95. Would have bought the N82 but I preferred a slider phone for a change. RM2350 the last time I asked at Sungai Wang.

Dalicia,
Maybe I'm just a small eater. I was virtually stuffed. Even had to skip the rice they gave me.

Aronil,
Yeah... its not a bad price for the features provided. AP set would be cheaper if you don't mind AP but I would definately recommend original set since this baby got so many gadgetry in it.
