Bomb hoax at KLCC, bag of clothes detonated

KUALA LUMPUR: A bomb hoax at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre resulted in a few hundred people evacuating the Twin Towers Friday afternoon.
Bomb squad personnel who rushed to the scene detonated a bag believed to contain a bomb as they claimed the bag was emitting some noises.
Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Zulkarnain Abdul Rahman said a security guard found the bag near the parking autopay station at the ground floor carpark of Twin Tower 2 at 3pm.
The security guard immediately alerted the police, Fire and Rescue department and the bomb squad.
ACP Zulkarnanin said the carpark was evacuated and the bag was brought out to a vacant area about 100m away before it was detonated at 5.55pm.
"We found the bag only contained clothes after it was detonated," he said when contacted Friday.
Wow! I did not realised that we are so advanced that our Malaysian bomb squad can actually detonate a bag of clothes.
I wonder whats next.....

Yeah, our university rankings are really bad now. But then its not our university's fault. The ranking system is flawed. Thats what they are trying to say.... lol

hahaha... a few years ago, there was this kind of news (bomb scare) too... and then the following day, one in china...
when see the pictures really pathetic... china bomb squad got good equipment etc, and cordone people off...
malaysia bomb squad... everybody surrounding one policeman, reporters a& photographers included while he crouches down to check under a car. no goggles even.
Our Malaysian police force are still light years behind many countries in Asia.
