The First Bucket Of Gold

There is a Chinese saying that man should always strive to achieve their "First Bucket Of Gold"

"The First Bucket Of Gold" is defined by as the first substantially achievable amount of wealth in one's life.

But how big is this so called bucket of gold?

I guess its pretty subjective, some people say that you have achieved your first bucket of gold when you are a proud owner of your own home, for some it may be the first 100k in their savings, the list is endless.

As for me, I think I have reached my first bucket of gold. I have my own house, a relatively stable practice and a moderate lifestyle. I am pretty happy with where I am right now in life. My next target would of course be my subsequent buckets of gold :P

I do believe that the second, third and so on buckets of gold becomes easier the moment you do achieve your first bucket. The process in achieving your first bucket of gold are the hardest hurdle. One can only make money with money right?

So whats your definition for your "first bucket of gold"?

Win the jackpot? That would be more then nice. But then again, I wonder if one can handle such drastic change in life.
