Minister of Shame

So as we all should know by now, our Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Chua Soi Lek have resigned from all his post following the disclosure of his sex dvd in Johor. I won't go into details regarding it as most of the details would be in our mainstream media by now.

If you have not read then here is a link as reported by the STAR
Minister of Health Resigns From All Post

You got to respect the fact that he had quickly admitted to him being the "star" of the dvd. If you have seen the tape you will know that its definitely him. So its a matter of sooner or later before he would have to admit it.

From my point of view, the true victim of this incident would be his wife and kids. Imagine the husband/father being implicated in a sex scandal and the family being in the limelight. They had to go to the extent of making up a public statement in support of the horny husband.

Probably one can argue that he was trying out the Viagra himself before allowing the Ministry of Health subsidise them for public use. "Khidmat Negara" (National Service) so to speak. Probably he should have used that as an excuse.

"I as Health Minister sacrificed my body to the Rakyat (Citizen) of Malaysia by being a human guinea pig to be tried on before allowing the drug called "Viagra" to be supplied by government hospitals to those needing it, HOWEVER opportunist from unknown factions have twisted my noble act into something wicked and untrue. I deny that I am a horny bastard!!"

To other ministers out there that I am sure are doing the same with their "personal friend". This should be a warning for all of you. Do not shag in public places.

chee hoe, i definitely think the same as yours. the wife and family are the biggest victim in this case.

as a known person by the public, what can the wife do? if she's saying she can't forgive, need to divorce all sorts of things, it's just like making a drama to the public. saying she can forgive him, is probably the best way. at least no more drama in front of the public.

honestly, when i heard of the news, i had no surprise at all. no matter who is he, he's a man.

Chee Hoe, yea... i agree with what haan said. That's the best way to end something publicly. At least if any dramatic things go on it'll happen back home.

All in all, i think it's good that he admitted what he has done. It's funny but it seems that all our health minister doesn't stay too long at that post.

Haan,
Yeah, I think too much emphasis is placed on him. If I am his son, I would not know how to face my friends and other family members. Its a real shame. Obviously everyone has skeletons in the closet but for such a public figure like him, the limelight will definately be more then his family can handle.

Flying Fish,
Yeah its ironic. Thats why for the MCA people its not called the Health Ministry but the Hell Ministry.

Aronil,
Glad you liked the wicked humour... haha. At least he did one "noble act". He resigned from all his post :)

Yeap agreed, like i was saying on my side, i hope that it will just lessen the distress on his family. One bad thing is enough to tarnish ones reputation for at least... ooohh a good year :P hahha

Aronil,
Yeah, hopefully the family can be out of the limelight after all this. One things for sure, reporters are having a field trip on this.
