Its not fair!

The old always envy the world of the children;
They think our worlds is full of fun,
But this is not always so,
For when a child breaks a glass
He is going to get a scolding;
When a child gets to bed late,
He is sure to get a rebuke;
When a child does not perform very well in school,
He is sure to get a dressing down.

But when a father breaks a glass,
Mother only says, "Well...."
And when father gets his spelling wrong,
Mother only says "its due to tiredness"

So you see, the world of children is not always full of fun,
For we never have a reason for our mistakes
